Dr. McCoss-Yerigan is a career-long educator with a background in education, business, and social work. As a full-time professor and the owner of an international company, she has given presentations around the United States as well as internationally. Even with these experiences that span the globe, her utmost accomplishment is being a mother. Her greatest knowledge comes from the experience of losing her oldest son, who was tragically and suddenly called to Heaven far too soon. Tanya invites you to share in her journey of, literally and figuratively, relearning everything she once thought she knew.
This is a necessarily raw and uncensored experience of losing a child. Nothing is held back or kept private. Tanya has reached deep inside of herself and into her most private hours to share with you the painful reality and journey of learning to live again without one of her children. It is her desire that you learn from this loss. It doesn’t matter if you are a parent, sibling, teacher, pastor, extended family member, or neighbor, you will close this book thinking differently; thinking deeper. You will also meet a woman whose faith and very life is all but destroyed and restored by the simple grace of God.
